| 1974 | SYI began the production of needle cage for motorcycle's connecting rods. |
| 1976 | SYI began the series production of needle roller bearings for metric size. |
| 1985 | We cooperated with the largest bearing distributor of USA to develop the full series needle roller bearings for inch size. |
| 1988 | After full strict quality inspection and certification by the major Taiwan Motorcycle makers, such as Kymco, SANYANG Motor, YAHAMA Taiwan and SUZUKI Taiwan, SYI started to provide the precision shafts and needle bearings to Taiwan motorcycle makers. This was the beginning for SYI become the important partner in the Taiwan OEM system. |
| 1993 | Our needle bearing for connecting rods (small & big end) was chosen by the International motorcycle manufacturers. The exported quantity exceed 150, 000 sets per month .SYI also became the name of good quality of Taiwan Bearing Industry. |
| 1995 | Famous Italian makers of agricultural machinery and tractors chose our inch size needle cages as their OEM parts. The requirement quantity reached 50,000 sets per month. |
| 2000 | Approved the ISO 9002 QUALITY SYSTEM in Jan. 2000 and started to promote QS 9000 in May the same year. From this year, SYI started to develop the high standard bearings for the "MOTORCROSS", "OUTBOARD". This series was promoting to USA, Central America, South America and Europe market. With the market successes, SYI obtained the trust of customers around the world. |
| 2001 | Applied for QS 9000 QUALITY SYSTEM Approval with USA NSF Company in April, and SYI got the official approval in May 2001. |
| 2002 | SYI start to provide the bearing for cutter library to machine tool Company worldwide. |
| 2003 | SYI start to provide bearings for Hyundai Heavy Industry and Dewoo machinery. |
| 2004 | SYI start to develop Rocker Arm Roller Bearings for leading engine manufacturer. Ex. BRP-Rotex |
| 2005 | A moderate shakeup came to our boardroom and our newly appointed General Manager started to recruit profession manager into the management team. Following the reorganization, we began to renew the manufacturing facilities and new factory. |
| 2006 | By March we implements the ERP system and start the era of e-economic. |
By Sep. we acquire the IOS-9001: 2000 quality certification. |
| 2007 | By Jan. we secured the ISO/TS16949 quality system. Basically this quality is set for auto industry. |
We plan to move our factory to Jungli Industry Park by July. |
